Intore Dance & Handicraft Workshop

Arrive at the cultural center and begin with an energetic Intore warrior dance performance — a centuries-old tradition celebrating bravery and grace. Learn the history behind the dance and try the moves yourself with the performers. Then move to the handicraft workshop: learn the art of traditional Agaseke basket weaving using local grasses and fibers, and create your own Imigongo artwork — a unique Rwandan art form using cow dung and natural pigments. Take home your handmade creations as souvenirs. End with refreshments and cultural conversation.
