Day-by-Day Itinerary
Gorilla Trekking Day
Early morning briefing at Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi. You will be assigned a gorilla family and trekking group. Trek through the park's bamboo forests, meadows, and volcanic terrain — the hike can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the gorilla family's location. Spend one magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. Return trek to park HQ, enjoy lunch, and transfer back to Kigali or your accommodation at leisure.
