5-Day Rwanda Wildlife & Gorilla Luxury Adventure

Arrive at Kigali International Airport and transfer to a luxury hotel. Enjoy an afternoon Kigali city tour visiting the Genocide Memorial, vibrant Kimironko Market, and the Inema Art Gallery. Welcome dinner at a fine-dining restaurant.

After breakfast, drive east to Akagera National Park (approximately 2.5 hours). Enter the park and begin a full-day game drive through savannas and lakeside terrain, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and more. Check in to your luxury safari lodge overlooking the park.

Early morning boat safari on Lake Ihema to see hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds. After lunch, depart Akagera and drive to Musanze in the northwest (approximately 4.5 hours), arriving at your luxury lodge near Volcanoes National Park.

The highlight of the trip. Early morning briefing at park HQ and trek into Volcanoes National Park to meet a mountain gorilla family. Spend one magical hour with the gorillas. Return to your lodge for a spa treatment or relaxation. Enjoy a farewell dinner featuring traditional Rwandan cuisine.

Leisurely breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Kigali International Airport (approximately 2 hours) for your departure flight. Optional stop for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.
